Fox Hunting Antenna Workshop

Last month we kicked off a workshop on building and using directional antennas for hunting transmitters, also known as fox hunting. The first meeting covered the overview, and the second was a build party — four lucky participants took home the antenna they built. In August, we'll spend time testing and getting familiar with the gear, and may hold a practice hunt near Ferndale as time permits. Workshops continue to meet at the Church Road Fire Station, our regular meeting location.

Repeater notice: On Saturday, August 19, and Sunday, August 20, the Cascade Bicycle Club will be using the VHF repeater on Mt. Constitution. Please be considerate of their traffic on those days. The FSQ rag chew net on Sunday morning will move to the Sumas VHF repeater for that hour.
